About Us

In 2019 we saw the need for a simple, multilingual approach to exposing young people to technology. Many young people in developing countries have little exposure to the options and opportunities that technology offers. Our goal is to provide that "spark" of interest. But our most important goal is also to build that connection with a local Christian community to ultimately build relationships and be able to share the love and hope of Christ.

Out of that need, we began investigating options for how we could provide a Spanish and English curriculum that had free tools that could be easily learned and used in many different settings with a low threshold of technology requirements. The result is our series of courses in Spanish that are appropriate for audiences from high school through adulthood. They're also easy to learn and deliver for anyone with a heart to reach out to their community.

What is Tekton?

A Tekton in ancient Greek was a skilled builder, craftsman, carpenter, and planner. The Tekton were highly trained people in Biblical times.

Jesus was described as a Tekton-

Is not this the carpenter, son of Mary, brother of James, of Joseph, of Judas, and also of Simon? Mark 6:3

Also, we see a Tekton in Bezaleel who was the builder of the Ark of the Covenant:

And Moses called Bezaleel and Oholiab and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, every man whose heart moved him to come to the work to work on it. Exodus 36:2

Today, those who use computer tools and technologies to build and create are the modern Tektons. Our goal is to inspire young people to become future Tektons and through that process come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
